first test of homesickness

well right now, the Spartans are playing their first football game of the season, and here I am sitting in an internet cafe in Plaza Mira Flores more than 2000 miles from home, constantly fiddling nervously and checking everything thats happening on cnnsi.com. We currently lead 7-0 early in the first quarter. ill probably sit here through the entire game. Especially since this internet cafe only costs me about a $1 per hour. Im sure some of you that read this are at the game. I hope that you´re cheering extra loud for me and know that I wish i was there with you.

On a similar note, tomorrow i get to experience my first real latin american futbol game. Olympia plays Motagua. Theyre huge rivals and their fans hate each other. its going to be sweet. YES!!! TOUCHDOWN JEHUU CAULCRICK!!!! THE SPARTANS LEAD 14-0 with 8:00 to go in the 1st quarter. sounds like this is gonna be a blowout....but i dont wanna speak too soon.

other than that....school is going ok. teaching is pretty easy, most of my students are pretty cool.

I get nervous everytime i see ¨Stanton rushed for¨ thats all we need is him to get hurt again. Stay in the pocket and throw the ball away. PLEASE DREW!

Well, ill update again at the end of the game, probably. GO STATE!!!!!

Wow, I saw Olympia play Motagua when I was in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade a long time ago when we lived in Tegucigalpa. Definitely a fun time. Hope you are doing well, and remember that VT SUCKS.
